SRM University Invites Applications for Admission into Engineering Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs in various specializations offered at various campuses for 2014-15.

4 years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
5 years Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
2 years Master of Technology (M.Tech)

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Tech Programs

Candidates must passed 10+2 or its equivalent and for all programs with minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and for Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering and Genetic Engineering with minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics/Biology, Physics and Chemistry

For B.Arch Program

Candidates passed in 10+2 or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 70% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Government with 70% aggregate marks are eligible to apply.

For M.Tech Programs

Candidates should have basic degree or equivalent in the relevant field with a minimum aggregate of 60%.

How to Apply

There are three modes of registration.
Online with e-payment/Unique Voucher Code: Candidates need to visit www.srmuniv.ac.in/admissions, register and pay online/use prepaid unique voucher code.
Online with demand draft: Application to be filled online by visiting www.srmuniv.ac.in/admissions and the same can be downloaded and sent to us with the DD for Rs.900 drawn in favor of SRMIST, payable at Chennai.
Direct: Candidates can obtain the application form from any of the following sources upon payment of Rs.900. Selected branches of Axis Bank, City Union Bank, Indian Bank, Karur Vysya Bank and post offices.
The completed application should be sent to the university so as to reach before the last date specified.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the SRM Entrance Examination (SRMEE-2014) conducted by the university.

Last date for receipt of application form: 15^th Mar, 2014 (Saturday)
Online-computer based: 17^th Apr, 2014 (Thursday) to 22^nd Apr, 2014 (Tuesday)
Paper-pencil mode: 27^th Apr, 2014 (Sunday)
Date of result declaration: 3^rd May, 2014 (Saturday)
