Utkal University of Culture (UUC), Bhubaneswar Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme for 2014-15.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs at faculties of Culture Studies, Language and Literature , Visual Art, Performing Art

Eligibility Conditions

• Masters degree and secured at least 55% of marks in disciplines of Utkal University of Culture are eligible for Ph.D registration provided they qualify through an entrance test followed by an interview.
  
  
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST category and college teacher having 15 years of teaching experience shall be given relaxation of 5% marks at Master's degree level.

How to Apply

• Candidates can download the application form from the university website www.uuc.ac.in.
  
  
• The cost of the application form is Rs.500/- and examination fee is Rs.2000.
  
  
• The amount may be deposited in shape of Bank draft drawn in favor of Utkal University of Culture, payable at United Bank of India, Market Building, Unit-II, Bhubaneswar.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on candidates’ performance in entrance test followed by an interview.

• Date of entrance test: 24^th Feb, 2014 (Monday)
