Gauhati University (GU), Guwahati Invites Applications for Admission into MBE Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 2 year Master of Business Economics (MBE) program offered at the Faculty of Management for 2014-16.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor degree in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate or in honours/major subject (if any) from the Gauhati University or any other recognized university (not through distance mode).

Note: Candidates who have appeared in the final semester of the bachelor’s degree may also apply provided they meet the eligibility criterion prior to 31^st Aug, 2014.

How to Apply

• Application form along with prospectus can be obtained from Gauhati University Publication Department (GUPD) on payment of Rs.300 at the G.U. cash counter or by demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Gauhati University payable at S.B.I., Gauhati University branch.
  
  
• The application form for admission may also be downloaded from the university website at www.gauhati.ac.in in which case a bank draft of Rs.300 in favour of Registrar, Gauhati University & payable at S.B.I., Gauhati University branch.
  
  
• Completed application form accompanied by all testimonials from HSLC onwards should reach the head of the Department of Business Administration, Gauhati University.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates qualifying in the written test will be permitted to appear in the group discussion and interview.

• Start date for availability of application forms: 23^rd Dec, 2013 (Tuesday)
• Last date for availability and receipt of application forms: 9^th Feb, 2014 (Sunday)
• Date of written test: 15^th Feb, 2014 (Saturday)
• Date of group discussion and personal interview: 22^nd Feb, 2014 (Sunday), 23^rd Feb, 2014 (Monday) and 24^th Feb, 2014 (Tuesday)
