National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore Invites Applications for Admission into DM/M.Ch Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme for 2014-15.

• Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Neuroradiology
• Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Neurology
• Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Neuroanaesthesia
• Master of Chirurgical (M.Ch) in Neurosurgery

Eligibility Conditions

DM in Neuroradiology

• Candidates should holdMD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis.

M.Ch. in Neurosurgery

• Candidates should hold post MBBS or post MS/DNB in general surgery.

How to Apply

• Application forms for all the courses are available online at the NIMHANS website www.nimhans.kar.nic.in.
  
  
• The applications have to be filled online and submitted online.
  
  
• The application fee is Rs.1500 per course for General candidates and Rs.1000 per course for SC/ST candidates for each course.
  
  
• The payment is to be made online only with debit/ credit cards and/or online transfer.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the online entrance test conducted by the institute.

• Last date for online submission of application: 31^st Jan, 2014 (Friday)
• Date of online entrance test: 29^th Mar, 2014 (Saturday) and 30^th Mar, 2014 (Sunday)
• The date of interview & counseling: 1st week of June, 2014
• Commencement of the programs: 1^st Jul, 2014 (Tuesday)
• Last date for admission of candidates: 8^th Jul, 2014 (Tuesday)
