Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata Invites Applications for Admission into UG/PG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs offered at Kolkata, Bangaluru, Delhi and Chennai campuses for 2014-15.

3 years

• Bachelor of Statistics (B.Stat) Hons.
• Bachelor of Mathematics (B.Math) Hons.

2 years

• Master of Statistics (M.Stat.)
• Master of Mathematics (M.Math)

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Math (Hons)

• Successful completion of Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Mathematics and English.

For M.Stat

• 3-year Bachelor’s degree with Statistics as a full subject, or a B Stat/B Math Degree/PG Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics from ISI.

How to Apply

• Candidates can apply only on-line through the official website http://www.isical.ac.in/~deanweb.
  
  
• The application fee is Rs.500.00 for all applicants in the general category (irrespective of reservation category) and Rs.250.00 for applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.
  
  
• The challan generated by the on-line system must be taken to any branch of State Bank of India.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates is based on merit as judged by their performance in written tests and interviews conducted by the Institute.
• Past academic record may also be taken into consideration.

Important Dates

• On-line application starts: 5^th Feb, 2014 (Wednesday)
• On-line application ends: 6^th Mar, 2014 (Thursday)
• Payment of application fee at SBI branches starts: 7^th Feb, 2014 (Friday)
• Payment of application fee at SBI branches ends: 9^th Mar, 2014 (Sunday)
• ISI admission test: 11^th May, 2014 (Tuesday)
