Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into M.A Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Arts (M.A) program offered at following schools for 2014-15:

• School of International Studies
• School of Language/ Literature/Cultural Studies
• School of Social Sciences
• School of Arts & Aesthetics
• School of Sanskrit Studies

Eligibility Conditions

For M.A in School of International Studies

• Politics: The candidates must hold bachelor’s degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks.
  
  
• Economics: The candidate must hold bachelor’s degree (with 50% marks in aggregate) in the following subjects: Economics (Hons) with Mathematics as subsidiary subject; Mathematics (Hons) with Economics as a subsidiary subject; or Statistics (Hons) with Mathematics & Economics as subsidiary subjects.

For M.A in Sanskrit

• The candidate must hold bachelor's degree in Sanskrit or in any other subject under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 45% marks.

For Online Application

• The candidates can apply online by logging into their official website at www.jnu.ac.in.

For Offline Application

• A set of application form and prospectus can be obtained through post by sending crossed bank draft for Rs.300 drawn in favor of Jawaharlal Nehru University and payable at New Delhi along with a self addressed (unstamped) envelope.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be made on the basis of written test conducted by the university.
