Indian Institute of Technology-Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), Varanasi Invites Applications for Admission into PhD in Science Programs 2014-15

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Science programs offered in various disciplines for 2014-15.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should have master’s degree in science in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale at the discipline/area must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale at the JRF or ICMR-JRF or DST-INSPIRE fellowship.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be based on the performance in their written test and interview conducted by the institute.

• Notification of shortlisted candidates to be called for interview: 13^th May, 2014.
• Date of interview/written test: 26^th May, 201 to 31^st May, 2014.
