IIT Hyderabad notification for admission to M.Tech/M.Phil/M.Des courses released

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad invited applications for admission to Master of Technology, Master of Philosophy and Master of Design programmes in various disciplines, for academic session 2014-15.

M.Tech specializations offered are:

1. Computer Science
2. Electrical Engineering
3. Biomedical Engineering
4. Biotechnology
5. Liberal Arts
6. Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering
7. Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering
8. Civil Engineering
9. Chemical Engineering
10. Department of Design

 M.Phil specializations offered are:

1. Anthropology
2. Cultural Studies
3. Economics
4. English
5. Sociology
6. Psychology

M.Des specializations offered are:

1. Department of Design
2. Liberal Arts

Eligibility Condition:

For M.Tech:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any branch of engineering or technology with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised universities.

For M.Phil:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised universities.

For M.Des:
Candidates must have B.Arch / B.Des degree with 60% of marks from any of the recognised universities.

Selection Process:

The candidates will be selected based on GATE / CEED 2014 score for M.Tech admissions and on other educational credentials for M.Phil/M.Des courses

How to apply:

Online application form will be available in official website of IIT Hyderabad.

Candidates have to register and login. After registration, candidates have to fill in the application form of their personal details and valid GATE score for M.Tech courses. The candidates next have to upload the scanned version of the payment challan and take a printout of the application form for future reference

Application fee:

• Rs 400/- for General/OBC category and Rs 200/- for SC/ST category.
