National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programmes offered in various areas at different campuses of NIPER for 2014.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Chemical Sciences
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Biological Sciences
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidate should have passed the qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 6.75 on a 10 point scale wherever grades are awarded or equivalent.

For Ph.D in Medicinal Chemistry Program

• Degree in M.S (Pharm.)/Medicinal Chemistry/Natural Products, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ M.Tech in Pharm/Bulk Drugs and M.Sc in Organic Chemistry.

For Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Analysis Program

• Dgree M.S (Pharm.) Pharmaceutical Analysis, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis or M.Sc in Organic/Analytical Chemistry.

• Candidates can apply online.
• Candidates before registration, applicants shall have to remit registration fee of Rs.1500 (Rs.750 for SC/ST) through online transfer to account number 65116506648 (NIPER Net Banking Account of State Bank of Patiala, NIPER campus branch, Sector-67, Mohali.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the NIPER Joint Admission Test (NIPER JAT) conducted by the institute.

Important Dates

• Last date for online registration: 28^th Apr, 2014.
• Last date for receiving registration slips by post: 7^th May, 2014.
• Online downloading of admit card: 30^th May, 2014.
• Date of NIPER JAT: 8^th Jun, 2014.
• Declaration of result: 16^th Jun, 2014.
