Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Invites Applications for Admission into UG Programmes

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Admission into following various undergraduate programmes

• BCA
• B.Sc. Computer Science
• BBA
• B.Com. (CA)
• B.Sc. Multimedia & Animation
• M.Sc. Biotechnology 5 year integrated

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Sc. Computer Science / BCA           

• A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum of 60% overall aggregate.

For B.Sc. Multimedia and Animation

• A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or A pass in Diploma (10+3) in any stream with a minimum of 60% overall aggregate.

For B.Com. (Computer Applications)     

• A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with minimum of 60% overall aggregate. Students must have studied Commerce / Accountancy as one of the subjects.

For BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)

• A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in any stream with a minimum of 60% overall aggregate.

For M.Sc. Biotech (5 year Integrated programme)           

• A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany / Zoology or Biology as subjects with a minimum of 60% overall aggregate.

Selection Procedure

• The candidates will be short-listed based on their +2 marks and will be called for the counselling / Interview.
