The Delhi Technological University (DTU) has invited applications for B.Tech (Evening) admissions for 2014-15 through entrance examination for the following given trades
Eligibility Conditions
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed State Board Diploma Examination in Engineering of three-year duration in any corresponding branch or any other examination, recognised equivalent by the DTU with a minimum aggregate of 55 per cent.
Other Eligibility Conditions
After passing the said examination, a candidate must have an experience of not less than one year as on August 30, 2014 (i.e. the closing date of admission), in full-time employment, training or apprenticeship in installation, operation and maintenance or some other recognised field of work in an approved engineering work/organisation and should be presently working in the organisation located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and contiguous industrial areas.
Each candidate must produce a 'no objection certificate' in original in the prescribed form (available with the application form) from the employer. The 'no objection certificate' issued by the employer should be renewed annually.
Paper Pattern:
The examination will comprise two papers of one-and-a-half-hour duration each. The first paper will be common to all candidates and second paper will be specific for the respective programme. The test will comprise of only objective type of questions. Each question will have multiple (four) choices with one correct answer.
Each correct answer will be awarded four marks, whereas one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Paper Syllabus
Paper I will comprise of questions from Science (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and paper II from Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Elect & Comm/ Information Technology)

Completed application form, downloaded from the official website, along with a demand draft of Rs 1,000, drawn in favour of 'The Coordinator, B.Tech (evening) entrance Examination' payable at Delhi should reach the office of-

Attested copies of the documents should be arranged in the following order along with the application form:
Acknowledgement Card, Admit Card, Address Slip, Application Form, Date of Birth certificate, Diploma certificate, Marksheets, Appointment letter, Experience certificate, No Objection Certificate from present employer, Caste Certificate (in case applicable). Three self addressed envelopes should be attached along with the application form.
