Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Engineering Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs offered in various disciplines for 2014.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Tech in Chemical Technology
• Ph.D (Tech) in Technology
• integrated Ph.D (Tech)

Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D (Tech) Programs

• Candidate must have passed the master's degree examination in Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial/Instrumentation Engineering from any UGC recognized University as equivalent thereto with 60%marks or equivalent CGPA (55% marks or equivalent CGPA in case of reserved category).

For Integrated Ph.D (Tech) Programs

• Candidates must have bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology with more than 65% marks or equivalent CGPA (60%marks or equivalent CGPA for candidates from reserved category) of ICT or from any accredited or AICTE recognized Engineering and Technology Institute.

• Candidates desirous of applying for additional courses must buy relevant form by paying additional fee Rs.1000 and Rs.500 (SC/ST) and by post Rs.1100 and Rs.600 (SC/ST).
  
  
• The handbook along with the admission form will also be available at the ICT Counter (11 am to 4.30pm.) by payment in cash except on Sundays.
  
  
• The duly filled form may be submitted in person at the ICT counter or sent to the ICT along with the pay order/ DD of the amount equal to the by post amount mentioned above to

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates shall be strictly on merit and on the basis of performance in the written test and interview conducted by the ICT.
• The list of qualifying candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks in written test and Interviews in70:30 ratio.

For Ph.D (Tech) Programs

• Last date for submission of online application: 30^th Apr, 2014.
• Merit list display of eligible candidates: 15^th May, 2014.
• Written test & interview: Second week of June 2014.
• Display of eligible candidates: 20^th Jun, 2014.

For Integrated Ph.D (Tech) Programs

• Last date for submission of online application: 30^th Apr, 2014.
• Merit list display of eligible candidates: 7^th May, 2014.
• Written test & interview: Third week of May 2014.
• Display of eligible candidates: Fourth week of May 2014.
