JEE (Advanced) 2014 registration begins today

The registrations for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2014 will begin today i.e May 4 and continue till May 9, 2014. Candidates declared qualified on the basis of their JEE (Main) results have to register for the JEE (Advanced) exam on website: http://jeeadv.nic.in

The registration can be done online only. The registration portal will open at 12:00 am on May 4 and close at 5:00 pm (IST) on May 9, 2014.

To register, the candidates will be required to sign-in with their JEE (Main) 2014 roll number and password and will be allowed to proceed only if they are eligible to write JEE (Advanced) based on cut off marks in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2014. The cut off marks in various categories will be displayed on the website from May 2, 2014.

Once the candidates are logged into the portal successfully, qualified candidates will be prompted to create new password for JEE (Advanced) 2014 registration. They will have to remember the password for all future operations. The registration for JEE (Advanced) is a three-step process-

  • Step 1: Fill the registration form
  • Step 2: Upload certificates
  • Step 3: Pay the registration fee

After successful completion of registration process, the candidates will have to visit Admit Card download portal to download it in PDF format (between May 11 and 24).

A candidate is allowed to appear for JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
