National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), Mumbai Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered in basic, clinical and operational research in different areas of reproductive health in various areas for 2014.

Eligibility Conditions

• Ph.D in Biological Sciences/M.Pharm/ M.V.Sc or M.B.B.S. (securing not less than 60% marks for general category candidates and not less than 55% for SC/ST candidates in all major examinations from higher secondary (10 + 2) onwards) are eligible to apply.
  
  
• Upper age limit is 28 years as on 6^th  June 2014 and it is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped persons as well as women candidates as per Government of India rules in this regard.

• Printed copy of the filled application form should be submitted alongwith a demand draft for Rs.300 (no application fee for SC/ST/PH candidates provided they submit supporting document) drawn in favour of “Director, NIRRH Mumbai” to In-charge, Post Graduate Studies, National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Jehangir Merwanji Street, Parel, Mumbai 400012.

Selection Procedure

• The names of the short listed candidates to be called for interview will be displayed on the NIRRH website along with date and time of interview (candidates have to note that individual letters regarding date and time of interview will not be sent).

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of online application: 6^th Jun, 2014.
• Last date for submission of hard copy of the application and demand draft: 13^th Jun, 2014.
• Announcement of candidates shortlisted for interview: 20^th Jun, 2014.
• Date of interview: 17^th Jul, 2014 and 18^th Jul, 2014.
