Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Invites Applications for Admission into Undergraduate Programmes

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for following under graduate programmes for 2014 -15.

Agricultural Science Programs

• B. Sc. (Agriculture)
• B. Sc. (Horticulture)
• B. Sc. (Forestry)
• B. Sc. (Home Science)
• B. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering)
• B. Sc. (Sericulture)

Agricultural Technology Programs

• B. Tech. (Food Process Engineering)
• B. Tech. (Biotechnology)
• B. Tech. (Horticulture)
• B. Tech. (Energy and Environmental Engineering)
• B. Tech. (Bioinformatics)
• B. Sc. (Agribusiness Management)
• B. Tech. (Agricultural Information Technology)

Age limit

• Candidates should not have completed the age of 21 years on the first day of July of the admission year (i.e. as on 1^st Jul, 2014).
• However, for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Caste Arunthathiars (SC-A) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) there is no age limit.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of MERIT based on the marks in their qualifying examination.
• Single window counseling system is being followed for all degree programs and campus allotment. Separate counseling will be held for academic and vocational stream candidates.
