Kurukshetra University (KUK), Kurukshetra Invites Applications for Admission into Law Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible conditions for admission into following honors programs for 2014.

• 3 years professional Bachelor of Law (LL.B) morning/evening
• 2 years Master of Law (LL.M)
• 5 years integrated Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Law (B.A+LL.B)

Eligibility Conditions

For LL.B Program

• Bachelor degree or master degree in any discipline from KUK or an equivalent degree recognized with atleast 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the aggregate.

For LL.M Program

• LL.B. (Professional) examination of KUK or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with atleast 55% marks in the aggregate (Minimum Pass marks for SC/ST candidates) shall be eligible.

For B.A.LL.B (Honors) Program

• Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2 standard) from the Board of School Education, Haryana or an exam recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in the aggregate with five subjects including the subject of English are eligible to apply.

• Prospectus and application form can be downloaded from www.kuk.ac.in. Such forms must be accompanied with DD for Rs.400/- (Rs.100/- for SC/BC/blind candidates of Haryana).

• Prospectus containing application form and details can be obtained from Manager (P&P), Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra by remitting a sum of Rs.450/- (Rs.150/- for SC/BC/blind candidates of Haryana) by DD in favour of Registrar, KUK, if required by post. Price at the counter is Rs.400/- (Rs.100/- for SC/BC/blind candidates of Haryana).

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the entrance test conducted by the institute.

Last date for submission of application form

• For B.A.LL.B (honors) program: 18^th Jun, 2014.
• For LL.B program: 27^th Jun, 2014.
• For LL.M program: 11^th Jul, 2014.

Date of entrance test

• For B.A.LL.B (honors) program: 2^nd Jul, 2014.
• For LL.B program: 13^th Jul, 2014.
• For LL.M program: 27^th Jul, 2014.
