Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur Invites Applications for Admission into PhD

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following disciplines in various areas for 2014.

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Humanities

Eligibility Conditions

For PhD in Physics Program

• Candidates should have master’s degree in the concerned or an allied subject with a minimum of first class (C.P.I. or C.G.P.A. greater than 6.75 on a 10 point scale) at bachelor’s or master’s level.

For PhD in Mathematics Program

• Candidates should have M.Sc. in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics with a minimum of First Class (C.P.I. or C.G.P.A. greater than 6.75 on a 10 point scale) at master’s level.

For PhD in Chemistry Program

• Candidates should have BM.Sc in Chemistry (Organic / Inorganic/ Analytical/ Physical Chemistry/ Biochemistry with a minimum of first class (C.P.I. or C.G.P.A. greater than 6.75 on a 10 point scale) at bachelor’s or master’s level.
