Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Horticulture Program 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Horticulture for 2014.

Eligibility Conditions

• Master degree in Horticulture from universities accredited by ICAR. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 6.50/10.00 OGPA in M.Sc.(Horticulture).

Selection Procedure

• The selection shall be based on the weightage for previous academic record (B.Sc-30%, intermediate (10+2)-10% and SSC-10%) and performance in entrance test (50%).
  
  
• Candidates with 50 or more than 50% marks in entrance test are eligible for interview/counseling which is relaxable in case of SC/ST candidates.

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of application forms: 5^th Jul, 2014.
• Date of entrance test: 31^st Jul, 2014.
• Date of counseling: 7^th Aug, 2014.
