University of Delhi (DU), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into M.Phil/Ph.D Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered at the Department of Commerce for 2014.

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Phil Program

• M.Com/MIB/ MHROD/MFC/MBA  with minimum 55% marks.
• Candidates with other post-graduate degrees similar to MBA degree of the University of Delhi and other Indian universities may also apply.

• Candidates should make demand draft of Rs.600 for General/OBC category and Rs.300 for SC/ST/PWD/CW category.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Delhi University Master of Philosophy Doctor of Philosophy (DU M.Phil/Ph.D-2014) entrance exam conducted by the institute.
• Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be called for interview for M.Phil program.
• Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be required to submit synopsis for the proposed research work for Ph.D program.

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of application form: 30^th Jun, 2014.
• Date of DU M.Phil/Ph.D exam: 27^th Jul, 2014.
