Fakir Mohan University (FMU), Balasore Invites Applications for Admission into PG Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs for 2014.

• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Applied Physics and Ballistics
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biosciences
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biotechnology
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Environmental Science
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Information and Communication Technology
• Master of Arts (M.A) and Self-Financing Courses (SFC)
• Master in Social Work (MSW)
• M.Sc
• M.A
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil)
• Master of Technology (M.Tech)

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidate should have passed three year degree examination in Arts/ Sciences/ Commerce of F.M University or any examination recognized equivalent thereto by the academic council with honours in the concerned subject or having the concerned subject as a pass/elective subject with 50% marks in the aggregate.
• Candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examinations and the Results of which are awaited are also eligible to apply.

• Candidates who have downloaded the application form from the university website have to deposit a crossed bank draft of Rs.200/- drawn in favour of the “Comptroller of Finance, Fakir Mohan University” payable at Balasore towards cost of the application form.

Selection Procedure

• Selection for admission into different programs shall be made on the basis of career marks and performance in the entrance test.

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of application form: 10^th Jul, 2014.
• Date of entrance test: 15^th Jul, 2014 and 16^th Jul, 2014.
• Last date for submission of application form for M.Tech/M.Phil (SFC mode) programs: 27^th Sep, 2014.
• Date of entrance test (SFC mode): 15^th Oct, 2014 and 16^th Oct, 2014.
