Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya (UBKV), Cooch Behar Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Agriculture and Horticulture in various disciplines under university research scholar/in-service/ project or research fellow/ self supporting/ collaborative research category for 2014-15.

Eligibility Conditions

• Master’s degree in Agriculture /Horticulture/ Forestry Science having at least 7.00 OGPA (6.5 OGPA for SC, ST and PWD candidates) from any recognized Indian/foreign university followed by bachelors’ degree in Agricultural/ Horticultural/ Forestry Science under 10+2+4 or 10+1+4 or 11+4.
  
  
• Candidates should have experience of dissertation in university / institute for at least one year.

• Application form has to submit online only on payment of Rs.300/- only for general and OBC-A and OBC-B categories and Rs.75/- only for SC / ST / PWD categories with service charge through online or offline mode as nonrefundable.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test conducted by the institute.
