National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Modern Biology Program 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Modern Biology for March 2015.

Eligibility Conditions

• Post graduate degree in any branch of science with at least 50% or an equivalent grade point average with a valid fellowship.
  
  
• Post graduate degree, who do not have individual fellowship but will appear for JGEEBILS exam to be conducted by TIFR on 14th Dec, 2014.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of JGEEBILS result by NCCS criteria for MCQ test/interview. In case of large number of eligible applications, a MCQ based entrance test will be held for further shortlisting of candidates for the interview.

Important Dates

• Last date of receiving filled in application form: 30^th Nov, 2014.
• Declaration of list of shortlisted candidates: 5^th Jan, 2015.
• Date of interview at NCCS: 2^nd Feb, 2015 to 4^th Feb, 2015.
• Declaration of result of interview: 4^th Feb, 2015 (evening).
