Chandigarh University (CU), Mohali Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Engineering Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following full time and part time for the commencing session January 2015.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Computer Science & Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility Conditions

• Master's degree in engineering disciplines with good academic record (minimum CGPA of 5.5 on 10 point scale or 55% marks in aggregate).

• Information brochure cum entrance test form fee is Rs.1100/-

Candidates can pay the requisite fee in two modes.

For Online Mode

• Deposit the requisite fee of Rs.1100/- through net banking/debit/credit card after registration.

For Offline Mode

• Deposit the requisite fee of Rs.1100/- in any branch of State Bank of India throughout the country on next working day. (bank service charges will be extra) on downloaded bank challan form along with completed application form.
• Bank will retain a copy and will return two copies. Out of these two copies, retain the candidate’s copy and attach the Chandigarh University’s copy with the application form.

Selection Procedure

• Eligible candidates possessing the minimum educational qualification and satisfying additional criteria will be called for an interview by the Ph.D admission committee after initial screening through CU-Ph.D entrance test.

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of online application forms: 8^th Dec, 2014.
• Date of written test: 14^th Dec, 2014.
• Result of written test: 18^th Dec, 2014.
• Date of interview: 22^nd Dec, 2014 and 23^rd Dec, 2014.
• Admission notification: 6^th Jan, 2015.
• Last date of deposit of admission fee: 10^th Jan, 2015.
