National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Gurgaon Invites Applications for Admission into M.Sc in Neuroscience Program 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candiates for admission into Master of Science (M.Sc) program offered in Neuroscience for 2015.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any branch of Science such as Life Sciences/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary Science/ Psychology/ Engineering/ Technology/Medicine from a recognized university.
  
  
• Candidates appearing for final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
  
  
• Only the candidates with at least 55% (for SC/ST/PH candidates, 50%) marks or equivalent grade from secondary (10th) examination onwards will be considered.

• The application fee for general candidate is Rs.300/- (online), Rs.350/- (offline) and for SC/ST/PH candidates Rs.150/- (online); Rs.200/- (offline).
  
  
• The application fee should be submitted by a demand draft drawn in favour of Director, National Brain Research Centre payable at Gurgaon or Manesar.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS) exam conducted by the institute.
• Candidates will be short-listed for a two-tier interview based on their performance in the JGEEBILS examination.

• Last date for applying online/offline: 31^st Dec, 2014.
• Last date of receiving demand draft at NBRC for online and offline applications: 9^th Jan, 2015.
