Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs 2014

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme  for December 2014.

• Doctor in Philosophy (Ph.D) in Liberal Arts
• Doctor in Philosophy (Ph.D) in Chemistry
• Doctor in Philosophy (Ph.D) in Physics
• Doctor in Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mathematics
• Doctor in Philosophy (Ph.D) in Design

Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D in Liberal Arts Program

• Candidate should have 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in master degree with UGC/NET score or M.Phil degree from reputed universities

For Ph.D in Chemistry Program

• Master’s (M.Sc) degree in Chemical Sciences with good academic record or valid GATE score/UGC JRF/CSIR -JRF or equivalent.

• Candidate should create login id for applying online on IITH website. Application fee is to be paid at bank by downloading the challan.
  
  
• The application fee is Rs.400/- for general/OBC category and Rs.200/- for SC/ST category.

Selection Procedure

• The admission process typically consists of a written test followed by an interview but differs for each department.
