National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya (NIT-M), Shillong Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Engineering Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme offered in various areas under full time, sponsored, project fellow and part time categories for January 2015.
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Computer Science & Engineering
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mechanical Engineering
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Civil Engineering
Eligibility Conditions
- Master’s degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Science/ Technology/ Management Sciences/ or master’s degree in the allied subjects with consistently good academic record and a minimum of 60% marks) or an equivalent CGPA in the master’s degree.
- B.E/ B.Tech with an aggregate of 75% marks or equivalent GPA with valid GATE score.

- Application fee is Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) by demand draft drawn in favour of “NIT Meghalaya” payable at Shillong.
Selection Procedure
- Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test on topics in his/ her discipline. Shortlisted candidates based on performance in the written test will be called for interview for the final selection.
