National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into UG/PG Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs offered at Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kannur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Raebarelli, Shillong, Kangra, Jodhpur and Bhubaneswar campuses for 2015.

• Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Accessory Design
• Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Fashion Communication
• Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Fashion Design
• Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Knitwear Design
• Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Leather Design and Textile Design
• Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech) in Apparel Production
• Master of Design (M.Des)
• Master of Fashion Management (MFM)
• Master of Fashion Technology (MFT)

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Des

• The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized central/state board of secondary examination, such as CBSE / state board New Delhi, and council for Indian school of certificate examination, New Delhi.
                                      Or
  General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB).

For B.FTech in Apparel Design

• The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized central/state board of secondary examination, such as CBSE, New Delhi, and council for Indian school of certificate examination, New Delhi with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
                                     Or
  eneral Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri- Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / International Baccalaureate (IB).

For M.Des

• Undergraduate degree from any institute / university recognized by law in India.
                                    Or
  Diploma in UG Design from NIFT/NID only.

• Demand Draft of requisite amount (Rs.1500/- in case of general/OBC (non-creamy) candidates and Rs.900/- in case of SC/ST/PHP candidates) drawn in favour of “NIFT HO”, payable at New Delhi in case making payment DD.
  
  
• Debit/ credit card details in case making online payment (Rs.1400/- in case of general /OBC (non-creamy) candidates and Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST/PHP candidates).

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be made on the basis of entrance test conducted by the institute followed by counseling.

Important Dates

• Last date of availability of online application: 10^th Jan, 2015.
• Last date for submission of application: 16^th Jan, 2015.
• Availability of admit card: 23^rd Jan, 2015.

Date of admission test:

• Paper based test 1 for all programs: 8^th Feb, 2015.
• Paper based test 2 for B.Des/M.Des programs: 22^nd Feb, 2015.
• Computer based test for B.FTech, M.FTech and MFM: 22^nd Feb, 2015.
• Declaration of final result (online): end of May/ June 2015.
• Date of counseling: June 2015 onwards.
