Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), Mullana Invites Applications for Admission into Medical Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs in various disciplines for 2015-16.

• Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Master of Dental Surgery (MDS)
• Master of Surgery (MS)

Eligibility Conditions

For MBBS/BDS Programs

• He/she will attain the age of 17 years or more on 31^st Dec, 2015.
  
  
• The candidate must have passed senior school certificate examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination as equivalent thereto with five subjects from any recognized board/university with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together (45% for candidates with Locomotive Disability of lower limbs) and must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually in the qualifying examination. Student is also required to have assed in other subjects of +2 examination.

For MD/MS Programs

• Candidates must be a citizen on India.
  
  
• Candidates must have passed MBBS examinations from any Medical college/institutes recognized by the Medical Council of India.
  
  
• Candidates must have completed satisfactorily or is liable to complete one year compulsory rotating internship by 30^th Apr, 2015 from colleges/centres recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on the basis of their performance in the Maharishi Markandeshwar University Common Entrance Test (MMUCET) for MBBS/BDS programs and entrance test for MD/MS programs conducted by the university.

Important Dates

For MD/MS/MDS Programs

• Last date of receiving filled in application forms: 9^th Feb, 2015.
• Date of MDS test: 14^th Feb, 2015.
• Date of MD/MS test: 15^th Feb, 2015.

For MBBS/BDS Programs

• Last date of receiving filled in application forms: 30^th Apr, 2015.
• Dispatch of admit cards: on or before 18^th May, 2015.
• Date of MMUCET: 31^st May, 2015.
