Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata Invites Applications for Admission into M.Tech Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programmes for 2015.

• Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science and Quality
• Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Quality ,Reliability and Operations Research

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Tech in Computer Science Program

• Master's degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Electronic Science/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology or bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology or any other qualification considered equivalent (such as AMIE or, GRAD-IETE or, DOEACC ‘B’ level).

For M.Tech in Quality, Reliability and Operations Research Program

• Master's degree in Statistics or master's degree in Mathematics with Probability and Statistics as major subjects or bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent or PG diploma in SQC & or from ISI and knowledge of Mathematics at graduate level and knowledge of Physics and Chemistry at higher secondary level.

• Application fee is Rs.600/- for all applicants in the general category and Rs.300/- for SC/ST/OBC/physically challenged candidates.
  
  
• The challan generated by the on-line system must be taken to any branch of State Bank of India.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on merit as judged by their performance in written tests and interviews conducted by the institute.
• Past academic record may also be taken into consideration.

Important Dates

• Closing date of online application: 3^rd Mar, 2015.
• Date of payment of application fee at SBI branches: 06^th Feb, 2015 to 10^th Mar, 2015.
• Date of admission test: 10^th May, 2015.
