Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following program for 2015-16.

2 years

• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Applied Physics
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Mathematics
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Computing

3 years

• M.Sc Tech in Applied Geology
• M.Sc Tech in Applied Geophysics

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Sc Tech in Applied Geology Program

• B.Sc degree (3-year) with Geology as honours/ major/ main/equivalent subject and any two subsidiary subjects from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

For M.Sc Tech in Applied Geophysics Program

• B.Sc degree (3-year) with Physics as honours/ major/ main/ equivalent subject, Mathematics as a subsidiary subject for two years/four semesters and another subsidiary subject from Chemistry, Geology, Electronics, Statistics and Computer Science for one year/two semesters.

For M.Sc in Chemistry Program

• B.Sc degree (3-year) with Chemistry as honours/ major /main/ equivalent subject, Mathematics as a compulsory subsidiary subject for one year/two semesters and another subsidiary from Physics, Geology, Zoology and Botany.

• The candidates are required to send the printout of the system generated application form, payment receipt (Rs.1000/- for SC/ST/PD candidates only and Rs.2000/- for all other categories of candidates), photocopies of all certificates and mark sheets to the office of the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad-826004, Jharkhand.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam conducted by the institute.

• Last date for the receipt of completed application form at ISM: 17^th Apr, 2015.
