Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT), Mohali Invites Applications for Admission into B.Sc/M.Sc Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs for 2015-17.

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Fashion Design
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Fashion Design (Knits)
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Textile Design
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Garment Manufacturing Technology
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Fashion Marketing and Management

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Sc Programs

• +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central / State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
                                    Or
  General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
                                    Or
  Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in Foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.
                                      Or
  A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
                                     Or
  3 or 4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

For M.Sc Programs

• B.Sc/ B.Tech /B.E degree.
                Or
  B.A/B.Com/BBA/BCA with any one of the following subject: Economics /Statistics /Management/ Marketing/ Mathematics/ Textile / Fashion / Accounts/ Computers/ Homescience/ any other related diploma

• Payment through Credit Card/Debit Card (Approved by Master/Visa): Candidates have to provide certain details from the card at the time of online registration.
  • For general category candidates are required to pay Rs.1750/-.
  • For SC/ ST or Person with Disabilities, candidates are required to pay Rs.1150/-.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on the basis of their performance in the entrance test conducted by the institute.

• Declaration of written examination result: mid of June 2015.
