Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay Invites Applications for Admission into B.Des Program 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program at Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at IIT Bombay for 2015.

Eligibility Conditions

Age Limit

• The candidate should have been born on or after 1^st Oct, 1995 if belonging to the GEN or OBC-NCL category and on or after 1^st Oct, 1990 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.

Number of Attempts

• A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. However, UCEED 2015 being the first UCEED examination, it will be the first attempt for all candidates.

Class XII (or equivalent) Examination

• The candidate should have passed their class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2014, or passed or appeared in 2015 for the class XII (or equivalent) examination. Those who appeared for the first time in their class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2013 or earlier are not eligible.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on the basis of their performance in the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) conducted by the institute.

Important Dates

• Last date for online registration: 25^th Apr, 2015.
• Start date for admit card: 18^th May, 2015.
• Date of UCEED: 31^st May, 2015.
• Release of UCEED 2015 answer key: 02^nd Jun, 2015.
• Declaration of result: 10^th Jun, 2015.
