National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli Invites Applications for Admission into M.Sc Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following program for 2015-16. 

• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Physics
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Computer Science 

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Sc in Physics

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Applied Physics.

For M.Sc in Chemistry

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with Mathematics as one of the ancillary subjects.

For M.Sc in Computer Science

• Bachelor’s degree in science (10+2+3) from a recognized university with at least 6 papers in Computer Science and 2 papers in Mathematics under semester system or at least 3 papers in Computer Science and 1 paper in Mathematics under annual system.

• A demand draft for Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities) drawn from any nationalized bank (preferably State Bank of India) not earlier than 15^th Apr, 2015 in favour of The Director, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli - 620015 payable at Tiruchirappalli towards registration fee.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on the marks obtained in entrance test conducted by NITT and the qualifying degree examination marks.

• Last date for the receipt of completed application form: 22^nd May, 2015.
• Date of entrance test: 07^th Jun, 2015.
• Announcement of Results: 17^th Jun, 2015.
