Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun Invites Applications for Admission into MCA Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Computer Application (MCA) and lateral entry to MCA programs for 2015. 

Eligibility Conditions

For MCA

• Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 year duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level, obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

For Lateral Entry to MCA

• Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level and should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination. 

How to Apply

• The cost of brochure/application form inclusive of examination fee is Rs.1000/- for general and OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates with Rs.125/- as handling charges.
  
  
• The information brochure containing the application form are available for sale by paying Rs.1000/- for general and OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates with Rs.125/- as handling charges. 

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on the basis of their performance in the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) conducted by the university. 

Important Dates

• Last date of sale and receipt of application form: 30^th May, 2015.
• Dispatch of admit cards: 1st week of June, 2015.
• Date for UKSEE: 18^th Jun, 2015 and 19^th Jun, 2015.
• Declaration of result: 25^th Jun, 2015.
