National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Kolkata Invites Applications for Admission into BHMS Program 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 5½ years including one year compulsory rotatory internship Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) program for 2015-17. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible to apply.
  
  
• Candidates must have passed all the five subjects individually and obtained 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates).
  
  
• For the candidates who have appeared for Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination, candidature will be taken into consideration provided that the result of that examination is published before the admission.

• Filled in application form (in candidate’s own handwriting) is to be sent along with bank draft of Rs.500/- drawn in any nationalized banks in favour of Director, National Institute of Homoeopathy, payable at Kolkata (IPO/cheque/cash/money order will not be accepted).

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the admission test conducted by the institute.

• Last date for receipt of filled application form: 19^th May, 2015.
• Date of entrance test/ counseling: 14^th Jun, 2015.
• Date of publication of the result: 22^nd Jun, 2015.
