JSS University, Mysore Invites Applications for Admission into MBBS/BDS Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs for 2015-17. 

• Bachelor of Medicine
• Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) 

Eligibility Conditions

For MBBS Program

• Higher Secondary Certificate Examination 10+2/ PUC II /HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/ HSC examination of any recognized board/ university from any school/ colleges in India/ Abroad after 12 years of study.
• The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject.

For BDS Program

• Higher Secondary Certificate Examination 10+2/ PUC II/HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/ HSC examination of any recognized board/ university from any school / colleges in India/ abroad after 12 years of study.

For MBBS Program

• The downloaded and printed application form should be sent along with COMED – K-UGET-2015 test score and rank and processing fee of Rs.2000/- only by way of DD favouring JSS University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore.

For BDS Program

• The downloaded and completed application form should be sent along with a processing fee of Rs.1000/- only by way of DD favouring Jss University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore. 

Selection Procedure

• Students will be admitted to UG Medical (MBBS) course in the constituent college of JSS University, JSS Medical College, Mysuru, on the basis of the rank list prepared by the university from the test scores / rank obtained by them in the COMED-K UGET - 2015 entrance test.
  
  
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test and counseling conducted by the university. 

Important Dates

For BDS Program

• Last date for receipt of filled application form for registration at the university by post: 15^th Jun, 2015.
• Date of entrance test/ counseling: 25^th Jun, 2015. 

For MBBS Program

• Last date for receipt of filled application form for registration by the university by post: 6^th Jul, 2015.
• Date of publishing of JSSU rank list: Monday, July 13^th Jul, 2015.
