Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), Dharamshala Invites Applications for Admission into UG/PG Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs for 2015-16.

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A) honors in Sanskrit
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) honors in Physics
• Master of Arts (M.A) in Sanskrit 

Eligibility Conditions

For B.A

• Candidates should have minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in 10+2 or Prak-Shastri Part- II or Visharad examination of a recognized school board or an equivalent examination by authorized board of state/national level.

For B.Sc

• Candidates should have minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in 10+2 (any science stream) examination of a recognized school board or an equivalent examination by authorized board of state/national level.

For M.A

• Candidates should have minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in Bachelors/UG with Sanskrit or Shastri examination of a recognized University or an equivalent examination.

• By sending a DD of Rs. 150/- drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, payable at Dharamshala, District Kangra (HP) to Temporary Academic Block, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Shahpur, District Kangra (HP) PIN- 176 206. 

Selection Procedure

For B.A Program

• Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, i. e. percentage of marks scored in 10+2 or PrakShastri Part-II or Visharad or any other equivalent examination, and weightage given, if any.

For B.Sc Program

• Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination of a recognized school board or an equivalent examination by authorized board of state/national level.

For M.A Program

• Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and weightage given, if any. 10% weightage shall be given to the candidates who have passed Shastri (equivalent to BA) examination or BA Sanskrit (Honours) from a recognized university.
