Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs for 2015-16.

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
  • 1 year Bachelor in Library & Information Science (B.LISc.)
  • Master of Arts (M.A) in Education
  • Master of Arts (M.A) in History
  • Master of Arts (M.A) in Sanskrit
  • Master of Arts (M.A) in Odia
  • Master of Arts (M.A) in English
  • Master of Arts (M.A) in Sociology
  • Master of Arts (M.A) in Economics
  • Master of Arts (M.A) in Anthropology
  • Master of Arts (M.A) in Journalism & Mass Communication
  • Master of Social Work (MSW)
  • Master of Science (M.Sc) in Anthropology
  • 1 year Post Graduate Diploma  Computer Application (PGDCA) 

Eligibility Conditions

  • Candidate should have graduation in any stream. 

How to Apply

  • Application form and the information brochure can be downloaded from the university website and be submitted to the study centre of their choice with a requisite fee of Rs.400/.

Payment of Fees

  • The Centre Directors are required to deposit the application fee of Rs.400/-, courpus fund of Rs.250/-, 55 % per cent of the course fee, examination fee of Rs.1000/- and the cost of the  study  materials  (for  MBA,  MBA,  PGDCA  and  MA  in  Education students  as fixed  by DDCE from time to time) in respect of each student admitted to the University. The grand total  amount  shall  be paid  by  the  centre  in  the  form  of  a  Bank  Draft  drawn  in  favour  of Comptroller  of  Finance,  North  Orissa  University,  in  any  nationalized  bank,  payable  at  Baripada. 

Important Dates

  • Last date of submission of the application form to the study centres: 10th Sep, 2015
  • Date of submission of  application forms along with DD in the University office by the Study Centres on or before: 19th Sep, 2015
