Shiv Nadar University Invites Applications for Ph.D Computer Science & Engineering Program 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program at the department of Computer Science and Engineering in the School of Engineering for 2016. 

Eligibility Conditions 

• First Division in ME / M.Tech or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized Technical institute or university.
                                          Or
  A good score in GATE-JRF or CSIR-UGC NET-JRF and proven strong aptitude for research, with B.E/ B.Tech. in relevant branch of engineering or equivalent degree with exceptionally good academic credentials.
  
  
• Applicants waiting for the qualifying examination Results are also eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure

• Shortlisted candidates will be intimated well in advance to appear for written tests and interviews.
  
  
• The written tests and interview will be conducted at the Shiv Nadar University (SNU) campus in Gautam Buddha Nagar District (near Greater Noida), U.P.
  
  
• Financial Assistance: All candidates admitted to the Ph.D. program will receive teaching/research assistantships of Rs. 35,000 per month along with tuition fee waiver, and hostel fee waiver. The assistantship is subject to satisfactory performance in the program evaluated continuously, and compliance with all University regulations.

Important Dates

• Last date for receiving application form: 30^th Nov, 2015.
• Date of written tests and interview: 07^th Dec, 2015.
• Declaration of Results: by 14^th Dec, 2015.
