Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full time residential programme for the session January 2016.
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Information Technology
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Management
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Bio-Informatics
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Applied Science
Eligibility Conditions
- The candidate must be first class in 10th, 10+2 and >= 60% or 6.5 CPI (on a scale of 10) marks (55% or 6.0 CPI (on a scale of 10) for SC/ST) in the respective Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree.
For Ph. D. admission in Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering
- M.Tech/Equivalent degree with GATE score in the respective branches.
For Ph. D. admission in Management
- MBA/PGDBM. IT background is desirable.
For Ph. D. admission in Bioinformatics and Applied Sciences
- M. Tech. or M. Sc. (IT/CS/Bio-Tech./Bioinformatics/Life Sciences/Statistics/Mathematics/Physics) with valid GATE score.
- The above requirements may be relaxed for exceptional candidates with very high GATE Score/CSIR/JRF/ICAR/DST/INSPIRE Fellowship/Publications with good Impact Factor/R&D/Software Development experience in their areas of interest or those from Institutes of National and International Repute.

- The application fee is Rs.500/- for General/OBC and Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates. The payments are to be made through Net banking.
- The printed online application form, two reference letter in the prescribed format along with all supporting documents must be sent latest by 31st Oct, 2015 to In-Charge Ph.D cell at IIIT, Allahabad.
