Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Mumbai Invites Applications for Admission into M.A Programs 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full-time (regular) post-graduate degree Master of Arts (M.A) program offered at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad campuses and other locations for 2016. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university.
  
  
• Only those candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year bachelor's degree examinations by 11^th Jun, 2016 are eligible to apply.

• The application fee is Rs.1030/- (if being paid by credit card/ debit card/ net banking) or Rs.1000/- + bank charges (if being paid through bank by cash). 

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the TISS-National Entrance Test (TISS-NET 2016), pre-interview test and personal interview conducted by the institute. 

Important Dates

• Last date for online form submission: 30^th Nov, 2015.
• Last date for receipt of application form by post: 01^st Dec, 2015.
• Date of TISS NET: 09^th Jan, 2016.
• Candidates who appeared for the national entrance test will be sent their score cards on email: 02^nd Feb, 2016.
• Date of pre-interview test/personal interview (Mumbai, Tuljapur campuses, MHAT, BANYAN and G-SET Ranchi): 10^th Mar, 2016 to 19^th Mar, 2016.
