Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D/M.S Programs 2015-16

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme for the midyear session2015-16. 

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Chemistry and Physics of Materials Unit
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Evolutionary and Organismal Biology Unit
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Molecular Biology and Genetics Unit
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Neuro Sciences Unit
• Master of Science (M.S) program by research and engineering 

Eligibility Conditions

For M.S (Engineering)/M.S (Research)

• M Sc, B.E, B Tech, M E, M Tech or MBBS are eligible to apply. They should have at least 50% in their highest University examination, and should also have qualified in the GATE/ UGC or CSIR - NET-JRF/ ICMR - JRF/ DBT-JRF/JEST / INSPIRE fellowship

• The award certificate of such examination should have the validity period for seeking admission to research program as on 1 January 2016.

For Ph.D

• M Sc., B E, B Tech, B.Pharm/ M E, M Tech or MBBS.
  
  
• They should have at least 50% in their highest university examination, and should also have qualified in the GATE /GPAT/ UGC -/ CSIR - NET-JRF/ ICMR - JRF / DBT-JRF/JEST / INSPIRE (Fellowship).
  
  
• The certificate of such examination should have the validity period for seeking admission to research program as on 1^st Jan, 2016. Generally ME/M.Tech students are required to qualify one of the exams mentioned above, however exceptional candidates without these exams may also be considered.
