Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS), Kalady Invites Applications for Admission into M.Phil/Ph.D Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs under various academic departments for 2015-16.
Eligibility Conditions
For M.Phil
- Candidates with Masters’ degree in the subject concerned or in related subjects specified by the departments concerned with not less than 55% marks/B+ grade of this University or any equivalent degree of any other Indian or Foreign Universities recognized by this university shall be eligible to apply.
- Candidates who are awaiting the Results of their PG examinations can also apply.
For Ph.D
- P.G degrees of this university in the subjects concerned or related subjects with B+ grade (55% and above) or equivalent P.G degrees of other universities recognized by this university.
- In the case of Ayurveda the candidates should possess masters degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University and approved by CCIM.
How to Apply
Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be short-listed based on the performance in an entrance examination conducted by the department and the interview conducted by the Research Committees of the respective departments.
For Ph.D Program
- UGC –JRF and RGNF awardees as well as and regular teachers of universities/colleges with a minimum service of five years and who have published at least two research articles in approved journals are exempted from the entrance examination
Important Dates
- Last date for filling up online application: 07th Nov, 2015.
- Date of entrance of examination: 19th Nov, 2015.
- Date of uploading the rank list: 25th Nov, 2015.
- Date of commencement of M.Phil program: 03rd Dec, 2015.
Note: The Ph.D program is scheduled to commence after the admissions to the M.Phil are completed.
