National Institute of Immunology (NII), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme for 2016-16. 

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Genetics and Cellular Biology
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Immunity & Infection
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Chemical Structural and Computational Biology
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Reproduction & Development 

Eligibility Conditions

• M.Sc or equivalent in any branch of science, or M.Tech or MBBS or M.V.Sc. or M.Pharm or equivalent qualification as per the norms of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, along with 60% aggregate score or equivalent grade in senior secondary certificate (10+2) are required to apply.
  
  
• Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination may also apply.

How to Apply

• Candidates can apply online from 01^st Nov, 2015.
  
  
• Online application fee is Rs.500/- (for general/OBC/PH) and Rs.250/- (for SC/ST).
  
  
• Candidates applying through JGEEBILS-2015 will also have to submit a separate application to NII indicating their JGEEBILS hall ticket number.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be short-listed for an interview based on JGEEBILS (December 2015) or their scores/ranks in entrance examination conducted by NII. 

Important Dates

• Date for submitting the online applications: 01^st Nov, 2015 to 31^st Dec, 2016.
• Date of entrance exam: 21^st Feb, 2016.
• List of shortlisted candidates: 16^th Mar, 2016.
• Date of interview: 08^th Jun, 2016 to 10^th Jun, 2016.
