Shiv Nadar University (SNU), Noida Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Life Sciences Program 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program at the Department of Life Sciences in the School of Natural Sciences for January, 2016. 

Eligibility Conditions

• A candidate should have (or expect to have by January 2016), M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point.

Selection Procedure

• Short-listed candidates will be required to demonstrate their knowledge through an on-site written test and interview.
  
  
• Candidates who have qualified for CSIR-UGC NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF or any other Government research fellowship are preferred, and will be exempted from the written test but they will have to undertake the interview.
  
  
• Financial Assistance: All candidates admitted to the Ph.D. program are eligible for teaching/research assistantships of Rs.35, 000 per month along with tuition and hostel fee waiver. The assistantship is subject to satisfactory performance in the program evaluated continuously, and compliance with all university regulations.

• Last date for receiving application form: 10^th Nov, 2015.
• Date of written test and interview: 28^th Nov, 2015 and 29^th Nov, 2015.
• Declaration of Results: 30^th Nov, 2015 to 05^th Dec, 2015.
