Manipal University (MU), Manipal Invites Applications for Admission into Engineering Programs 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following Programme for the session 2016. 

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
• Master of Technology (M.Tech)
• B.Tech lateral entry
• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
• Executive Master of Architecture (M.Arch) in various specializations 

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Tech

• 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with physics, mathematics and english as compulsory subjects along with chemistry or biotechnology or biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in physics, mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

For M.Tech

• B.Tech or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

For B.Arch

• Minimum of 40% marks in the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA)
  
  
• Candidates must have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 with Mathematics and English as compulsory subject. Or 50% marks in aggregate in 3 years diploma (any stream) after 10 years of schooling recognized by central/state government with mathematics and english as compulsory subjects. 

For M.Arch

• B.Arch or its equivalent as approved by Council of Architecture with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

• Application fee of Rs.600/-and Entrance test fee of Rs.1400/- for selected course has to be paid through credit card, debit card, net banking or demand draft

Selection Procedure

For B.tech and M.Tech

• Selections will be based on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016.

For B.Arch

• Selections will be based on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the NATA score conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA).

For M.Arch

• Selections will be based on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and there is no entrance test. 

Last date for receipt of application:

• For B.Tech Program: 11^th Mar, 2016.
• For M.Tech Program: 11^th May, 2016.
• For B.Tech lateral entry Program: 15^th May, 2016.
• For B.Arch Program: 30^th May, 2016.
• For M.Arch Program: 25^th Jun, 2016.
