University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun Invites Applications for Admission into B.Tech/M.Tech Programs 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for 4 years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) programs offered in various disciplines at University of Petroleum and Energy

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Tech

• Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th). Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1994 are eligible to apply for admission.

For M.Tech

• Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th). B.Tech/ BE in respective discipline with minimum 60% marks.

• Candidates can purchase UPES prospectus & application on a cash payment of Rs.1750 from admission counters at Ahmedabad/ Chandigarh/ Cochin/ Coimbatore/ Delhi/ Dehradun/ Hyderabad/ Kolkata/ Mumbai.

Selection Procedure

For B.Tech

• Selection will be based on the basis of UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT 2016) followed by centralized counseling through UPESEAT merit rank or centralized counseling through merit rank for non exam category.

For M.Tech

• Selection will be based on merit performance in UPES MTECH Engineering Entrance Test (UPES-MEET) conducted by the university.
• Candidates having qualified GATE 2016 are eligible and exempted from UPES-MEET.

• Last date to apply: 03^rd Feb, 2016.
• Phase – I: UPES-MEET: 10^th Feb, 2016 to 12^th Feb, 2016.
• Last date to apply: 06^th Apr, 2016.
• Phase – II: UPES-MEET: 14^th Apr, 2016 and 15^th Apr, 2016.
• Last date to apply: 01^st Jun, 2016.
• Phase – III: UPES-MEET: 04^th Jun, 2016 to 05^th Jun, 2016.

For B.Tech

• Last date of issue of application form: 03^rd May, 2016.
• Date of UPESEAT: 15^th May, 2016.
