• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in English
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in History
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Home Science
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Industrial Relations
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Personnel Management (IR&PM)
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Marine Sciences
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Mathematics
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Odia
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Physics
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Political Science
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Zoology
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Women’s Studies 

Eligibility Conditions

• MA/M.Sc/M.Com or any other examination recognised by the Berhampur University as equivalent thereto, with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (50% of marks or equivalent grade for the candidates belonging to the scheduled caste or schedule tribe categories).

For M.Phil in Women’s Studies Program

• A candidate having a post-graduate degree from Berhampur University or from any other university recognised as equivalent thereto with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (50% of marks or equivalent grade for the candidates belonging to the scheduled caste or schedule tribe categories) is eligible for admission.

• Candidates seeking admission must enclose with the application form a crossed demand draft/banker’s cheque for Rs.1000/- towards processing and entrance test fee, drawn in favour of the Head of the Department concerned for which admission is sought/Director, WSRC in case of M.Phil in Women’s Studies, and payable at the SBI, Bhanja Bihar (Code 2107), Berhampur-760007. 

Selection Procedure

• Admission into all M.Phil programs shall be done by taking account the marks secured by candidates in the entrance (written) test, career marks, and marks secured in Viva voce/ interview. The entrance (written) test shall comprise of 60 marks of two hour duration. 

Important Dates

• Last date for completed application form: 02^nd Dec, 2015.
• Date of entrance test: 13^th Dec, 2015.

Dates of interview/ viva-voce:

• All Science subjects: 16^th Dec, 2015.
• All Humanities/ Social Science subjects: 18^th Dec, 2015.
• Women’s’ Studies: 19^th Dec, 2015.
