University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun Invites Applications for B.Plan/M.Plan Programs 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programmes for 2016.

• Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan)
• Master of Planning (M.Plan) in Urban & Regional Planning
• Master of Planning (M.Plan) in Environmental Planning
• Master of Planning (M.Plan) in Transportation Planning. 

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Plan

• Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in class X and minimum XII with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as compulsory subject in class XII if the candidate is applying through U-PAT (UPES Planning Aptitude Test)/JEE 2016 / NATA.
  
  
• Candidates with minimum 65% marks in class X and minimum XII with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as compulsory subject in class XII are eligible for direct admission.

For M.Plan

• Candidates with minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th)
  
  
• Candidate should have graduate degree in B. Tech/ BE in Civil/ Planning/ Architecture Engineering or Master’ Degree in Geography/ Economics / Sociology with minimum 55% marks. 

How to Apply

• By Demand Draft: Candidates can purchase the UPES prospectus and application form by sending a demand draft of Rs.1850 in favour of "UPES Fee Account", payable at New Delhi to University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Enrolment Office, 210, 2ndFloor, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase III, New Delhi 110020.

  By Cash: Candidates can purchase UPES prospectus and application on a cash payment of Rs.1750 from admission counters at Ahmedabad/ Chandigarh/ Cochin/ Coimbatore/ Delhi/ Dehradun/ Hyderabad/ Kolkata/ Mumbai.

  By Online: Candidates can apply online: http://www.upes.ac.in/admission-2016 by paying Rs.1850/-. 

Selection Procedure

• For B.Plan Program: Candidates are selected based on the U-PAT or board merit/ JEE Main 2016/ NATA 2016 Pathway
• For M.Plan Program: Candidates are shortlisted and called for the interview conducted at the University for the final selection.

For U-PAT 2016

• Last date to apply: 12^th Apr, 2016.
• Exam date: 18^th Apr, 2016 to 19^th Apr, 2016.
