- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Public Administration
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Rural development
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Sociology and Development Practice
Eligibility
- Master’s degree in the above mentioned areas with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% for SC/ST/Physically Disabled category) in the master’s degree.

Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test and personal interview conducted by the Institute.
- The candidates with M.Phil/JRF/NET/SLET are exempted from the entrance examination.
Institute Fellowship
- RGNIYD offers fellowship of Rs.13000/- p.m. + Rs.24000/- contingency per year for full time scholars who are non-receipt of any other fellowships from any source.
